ST. CLAUDE AVENUE BRIDGE - LA 46 (updated 6/18/21)
The LADOTD has announced the following lane restrictions for roadway improvements on St. Claude Avenue (LA 46), in the vicinity of the St. Claude Bridge:
- Eastbound (Elysian Fields Ave. to Poland Ave.): Alternating lane closures Monday, June 21st through Friday, June 25th, from 7:00 AM until 4:30 PM daily, while crews perform asphalt milling and paving work.
- Eastbound at the St. Claude Bridge (Poland Ave. to Reynes St.): Continuous right lane closure through Friday, June 25th, while crews perform bridge approach slab work.
- Westbound (Poland Ave. to Elysian Fields Ave.): Alternating lane closures Monday, June 21st through Friday, June 25th, from 8:30 AM until 6:00 PM daily, while crews perform asphalt milling and paving work.
The Port of New Orleans owns and operates four bridges (St. Claude Avenue, Florida Avenue, Almonaster Avenue, and Seabrook) across the Inner Harbor Navigation Canal. To help expedite vehicular traffic during peak drive times, the St. Claude and Florida Avenue Bridges will not be drawn for maritime traffic during restricted hours on weekdays (Monday-Friday), excluding federal holidays, except in the case of an emergency. These restricted hours are known as bridge curfews.

The Almonaster Avenue Bridge is operating normally, but it is currently closed to vehicular traffic due to roadway conditions.
Seabrook Railroad Bridge
The Seabrook Bridge is operating normally.
